**The Garage Games 2011 Main Event will return on Feb 5th 2011**

From this vantage, you are looking down from the dining hall back patio, to the bottom of the hill.  Competitors will start at the bottom, next to the lake, they will carry the sandbag into the clearing in the foreground, perform their cleans, then run back down.  Picking your way through the trees and the other competitors.  The dead-lift at the end will be more difficult than most expect, after you have completely wasted the mid-section and lower chain by carrying this beast of a bag!

Adv Men: 15 Mins, 10 – 2 pood KB, 45FT, 10 – 20# WB; repeat for rounds

Advanced Men: 10 – 135# ground to overhead anyhow, 20 sit-ups, 600M run; 10- 2 Pood KB Swings, 20 burpees, 600M run; then do it all again.
Adv Wom : 10 – 95# ground to overhead anyhow, 20 sit-ups, 600M run; 10 – 1.5 Pood KB Swings, 20 burpees, 600M run; then do it all again.
Int Men : 10 – 115# ground to overhead anyhow, 20 sit-ups, 600M run; 10 – 1.5 Pood KB Swings, 20 burpees, 600M run; then do it all again.
Int Wom : 10 – 75# ground to overhead anyhow, 20 sit-ups, 600M run; 10 – 1 Pood KB Swings, 20 burpees, 600M run; then do it all again.

Swing Constitutes: Advanced and Intermediate = Expose part of the EAR on every swing, Beginner, see the eyes below the kettlebell on every swing.

Get your support spectators prepared, there will be awesome photo ops on all of these events, they are wooded areas with great potential.  We will have a team of professional photographers who will be taking shots and uploading them, making them available for reasonable purchase as well.

The Garage Games 2010 …. Feb 6-7th

There will be three classes of competition, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.  The details you provide will allow us the ability to pick the level that you are suited for.  We will be posting athlete profiles including pictures for EVERY registered athlete, please be prepared with a picture when you register.

Day One – Saturday -  Events One, Two and Three
(All Competitors)

Each competitor will complete the required workout, and be awarded a point scoring for each workout.  Workouts will be announced the morning of the competition. Everyone can compete.  If a prescribed workout cannot be done, you may still compete through the first four events.

Day Two – Sunday – Event Four
(All Competitors)

Each competitor will complete the required workout. This will be the last event for Beginner and Intermediate competitors.  Awards will be given following this event for the top three male and female competitors in both categories.

Advanced competitors: The top sixteen OVERALL finishers for each gender will move on to the last workout.

Day Two – Sunday – Event Five
(Top sixteen male and female)

Each competitor will complete the required workout. Workouts must be completed as prescribed to count. Top three male and female finishers will receive awards.

Prizes

Top three finishers will receive prizes for both male and female categories. In the advanced category the top sixteen both male and female competitors will receive medals.

Workout Details

We advise that you are comfortable with CrossFit exercise terminology and execution such as: burpees, pull-ups, hand stand push-ups, dead-lifts, clean and jerk, kettle-bell swings, etc.  Follow the WOD’s at www.crossfitgarage.com to be comfortable with the exercises that will be used for the Garage Games.
